Meet Andrés

Andrés Campos is a dedicated public servant with deep roots in New Braunfels, Texas. His family has contributed to the community for generations through public service, small business, and civic engagement. Building upon this legacy, Andrés has amassed over a decade of leadership and project management experience in the private sector, notably with a Fortune 10 company.

In June 2022, Andrés was elected to the New Braunfels City Council, representing District 1, securing 69.15% of the vote in a runoff election. His tenure has been marked by proactive community engagement, including hosting citizen forums to address local concerns and provide updates on city projects. In May 2024, his peers on the City Council elected him as Mayor Pro Tem, recognizing his leadership and dedication to the community.

As Mayor Pro Tem, Andrés continues to focus on managing the city's rapid growth by advocating for infrastructure improvements, supporting local businesses, and preserving New Braunfels' unique character. He emphasizes transparency and community involvement, actively seeking input from residents to inform policy decisions.
